High school counselors attend Counselor Preview Day at Tarleton

High school counselors from across Texas visited Tarleton, Tuesday, for Counselor Preview Day, hosted by the Welcome Center.

Tuesday, high school counselors from across Texas visited Tarleton to learn more about the university and what it could offer their students.

Financial aid, scholarships, housing and other programs on campus presented to illustrate Tarleton’s vast opportunities.

Lathes Towns the Director of Transitions and Family Relations was one of the speakers from Tarleton to talk to the counselors.

“I┬átalk[ed] about transitions to the college lifestyle and what we have to offer, which involves orientation, duck camp, transitions week and others,” Towns said.

According to the Welcome Center, there were 17 counselors in attendance.
