with him for a face to face interview.

Jergins is currently the vice president for student life at Tarleton State University but in the past has spent six years as a council member, three years in planning and zoning, and four years as mayor. A Tarleton alumnus, Jergins attributes his desire of serving to his involvement in student activities when he was an undergraduate. If elected, Jergins says he will make honest and educated decisions. He promoted economic development as mayor and there was a small tax reduction during his time in office. When not at work, Jergins passes his time with his family, spending time in his yard and golfing.
