The Department of Fine Arts is hosting an exhibit for the Tarleton art faculty. The art exhibit runs from January 13 to February 10 at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center.
“We have had a lot of visitors to the gallery during this exhibit. Because the artists are all local and well-known, there has been a lot of local interest,” said Lori LaRue, an operations manager.
The gallery is small but has different kinds of art. “There is no theme for this exhibit, it is simply the Tarleton Faculty Exhibit. Because each of our faculty members specializes in a different type of art, the exhibit is very diverse. It includes paintings in acrylics, watercolors, and oils, sketches, photographs, realistic and abstract art, and digital art,” said LaRue.
The gallery will be open from 9-5 on weekdays and admission is free and open to the public.
