Tarleton State University will be represented at the Globe Life Park on June 6 as a part of the Texas Rangers University Days. The Tarleton Alumni Association paired with the Rangers four years ago to bring members of various universities together for a night at the ballpark.

Jessica Evans, director of engagement for the Tarleton Alumni Association, said around 2,000 alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff participate yearly. The first 2,000 attendees that purchase tickets through the special link will also receive a custom Rangers and Tarleton themed baseball cap.

The Alumni Association hopes that by participating in the Rangers University Days, others attending the game will learn about Tarleton and promote our university, while also bringing to together members of the Tarleton family.

“Events like this are part of our process in sharing the Tarleton story, and they provide an opportunity for alumni to gather and reminisce about Tarleton. This event gives alumni a reason to get a group together and enjoy their time while watching the Rangers,” said Evans.

The game begins at 7:05 p.m. and Tarleton President Dr. F Dominic Dottavio will be throwing out the first pitch. Tickets that include a voucher for the custom cap can be purchased through this link: www.texasrangers.com/tarleton
