The evening adventures kicked off back in April and eight events have taken place so far with a limited number of days left to sign up and participate.

According to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center website, “The Twilight T.W.A.N.G. Educational program includes an adventure into the park, a nature walk to test your senses, a campfire with s’mores and plenty of other surprises as your educator makes sure it is as fun as all get-out!”

Group members will be competing against one another during the Twilight T.W.A.N.G. as well as testing their animal knowledge in order to win a prize

The website also says that most available dates to attend the Twilight T.W.A.N.G. are already sold out; however, there are two remaining availabilities on July 30 and August 27.

The event takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. after normal park hours, which are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.

The cost of attendance for the Twilight T.W.A.N.G. is $50 per person. All ages are welcomed to join the Twilight T.W.A.N.G., but one adult must be present. Each group must have at least five people in their group to register and no more than ten to participate.

If groups do not show up within 15 minutes past the scheduled start time without having made other arrangements, the educational department will cancel the program without refunding the group. The only way to receive your refund, according to the Fossil Rim website, is if Fossil Rim is the party canceling the program, which does include cancellations due to weather.

The Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the conservation of endangered and threatened indigenous and exotic species, undergoing scientific research, training professionals, responsible management of the natural resources and public education, their mission statement says.

Fossil Rim offers many fun opportunities for visitors including self-guided tours through the park, guided and group safari tour, educational opportunities, special events—including the Twilight T.W.A.N.G—their Overlook Café, their children’s animal center and their nature store. The cost of an everyday visit to the wildlife center is $24.95 for adults, $19.95 for children ages 3 to 11 and free for children 2 and under.
