The Dublin Mobile Pantry held a community service event on Oct. 5 at the First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas. Members from the Tarleton Serves Organization attended the event and helped package food for families.

The food for the Dublin Mobile Pantry Event is sourced from the Tarrant County Area Food Bank and is sponsored by Erath County United Way and HOPE Inc. The Dublin Mobile Pantry is held on the first Thursday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

“The church members have really taken on this project and make it happen each month,” Scott said.

The Pantry came about during COVID-19 and monthly distributions began in May 2021.

“My favorite part about these events is the fellowship amongst our volunteers and the opportunity to help serve our community and fill a need,” Courtney Scoggins, Ministry Assistant at The First Baptist Church said.
